The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has claimed that many Nigerians believe the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Federal Government has failed, particularly in key areas such as security and the economy.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, made the assertion on Wednesday during an appearance on Politics Today, a programme on Channels Television, where he spoke on the performance of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
“It appears to us that the majority of Nigerians have concluded that this APC government has failed.
“And I will say this on the strength of the kind of conversations we’ve been having in the last couple of weeks.
Oh, absolutely the government has failed all in the system of security and economy. I listened to the president during salah. He said he was warning people that the crisis in the Middle East is going to worsen inflation and bring more difficulties to the people.
“Hell no! Nigeria has been at war since 2023. President Bola Tinubu and the APC have declared war on Nigeria since 2023. Life has been difficult for the majority and we know that.
“People are not guaranteed that when they go into their houses to sleep at night, they will wake up and not be invaded marauders,” he lamented.
Abdullahi’s remarks reflect growing political criticism as opposition parties continue to challenge the policies and performance of the current administration.
