Veteran Nollywood actress, Fausat Balogun, widely known as Madam Saje, has intervened in the rift involving Toyin Abraham, Funke Akindele, and Iyabo Ojo, bringing the disagreement to a resolution.
The reconciliation comes days after a viral video showed Funke appearing to snub Toyin at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere, a moment that quickly sparked reactions among fans and on social media.
Amid the controversy, Iyabo Ojo had earlier addressed the situation, explaining that the tension could be traced back to an outburst by Toyin Abraham in December. According to her, the incident disrupted an earlier understanding between Toyin and Funke.
However, stepping in to calm the situation, Madam Saje revealed that she had taken responsibility for resolving the issue and restoring peace among the actresses.
In a video shared on Instagram, she confirmed that the matter has now been settled and urged all parties involved to keep such issues away from the public space.
“I have taken up the matter since yesterday. I’ve resolved it and ordered them to take it off social media. I made them realise that their matter should no longer be discussed on social media again.”
Her intervention appears to have brought an end to the dispute, with the focus now shifting away from the controversy.
