Manchester United have reportedly started formal negotiations with interim boss Michael Carrick regarding the possibility of becoming the club’s permanent manager.
Reports from talkSPORT claim Carrick is now in a favourable position to secure the role ahead of the new season, with growing support from influential figures within the club’s hierarchy.
The former Manchester United midfielder took over managerial duties in January after Ruben Amorim left the position.
