EPL: Mikel Criticises Rosenior After Chelsea Defeat

John Obi Mikel has expressed strong criticism of Liam Rosenior following Chelsea FC’s 3–0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.

The loss added to a difficult run of form for the club and has intensified scrutiny on the manager’s performance since taking charge.

Rosenior, who joined Chelsea after leaving RC Strasbourg Alsace to replace Enzo Maresca, has faced increasing criticism over the team’s performances and results in recent weeks.

Speaking on his Obi One Podcast, Mikel questioned Rosenior’s suitability for the role, suggesting that the manager has not established a strong connection with the club or its supporters.

“He looks like he’s faking everything, but that’s what I said.

“From the very first minute I listened to him in a press conference, I said it, there is something about the guy that I do not like.

“When I say week in, week out, there is something about him that doesn’t connect with the football club, I still don’t see that connection. It doesn’t sit well with me and a lot of people. People don’t see it working out.”
