Agent Slams Chelsea Over Enzo Fernández Ban

Chelsea FC midfielder Enzo Fernández has been handed a two-match ban by the club, a decision his agent has strongly criticised.

Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior confirmed that Fernández will miss the FA Cup clash against Port Vale and the Premier League fixture against Manchester City.

The sanction followed comments made by the Argentina international about potentially living in Madrid in the future.

Reacting, his agent Javier Pastore described the punishment as unfair, insisting the remarks were misunderstood.

“The punishment is completely unfair,” he said.

“Enzo didn’t understand the situation. He did not mention any club or say he wants to leave Chelsea, far from it.

“He only mentions Madrid, the city, because he was asked which European city he’d like to live in one day.”

Pastore maintained that Fernández has no intention of leaving Chelsea, stressing that his comments were taken out of context.
