The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has criticised the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying his Renewed Hope agenda has brought hardship to many Nigerians.
In a statement marking the President’s 74th birthday, the party said citizens are facing worsening economic and security challenges.
“Under your watch, fuel prices have risen by nearly 500%, turning basic transportation into a daily calculation of survival,” the ADC stated.
The party also raised concerns about insecurity, noting that “Nigeria has climbed to 4th on the Global Terrorism Index,” with lives lost and communities displaced.
It further claimed that the “Renewed Hope” promise “has turned to hopelessness for millions of Nigerian families.”
While wishing the President well, the ADC urged him to take governance more seriously and address the country’s challenges.
