A senatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano Central, Abdulkareem Abdussalam Zaura, popularly known as AA Zaura, has expressed strong confidence in the party’s chances ahead of the elections in Kano State.
Speaking on Sunday while receiving political support for his ambition, Zaura said the party is fully prepared and well-positioned to secure victory across all levels in the state.
“In Kano, we are battle ready and we have a very strong team at the helm of party affairs. We shall come back here just like we are here now to celebrate APC success from top to bottom,” AA Zaura said.
He emphasized the strength and transformation of the party, stating, “We are here today to say we are ready for a contest under the most powerful and most influential party in the country, I call it APC Pro Max.
The APC of today, we all know, is not the same as yesterday. God willing, we have all it takes to make a difference and we shall succeed.”
Also speaking, the APC state chairman, Umar Haruna Doguwa, commended the group backing the aspirant and expressed optimism about the party’s prospects.
“The calibre of people I see in this entourage are exceptional. People that are trustworthy and reliable in grassroots politics.
“We will ensure that we do the needful, for someone who has quality and integrity must not be left out.”
He added that the party remains confident of victory, noting, “All party members, I assure all of you that, God willing, we will coast to victory in this party, this is a party I have seen that has the highest chance of winning elections.
“We have already achieved nine out of 10 issues to win the election. If you are not in the APC you are on your own, a loser already.”
