BLord Case: Sowore Rejects Feud with VDM

Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has stated that he will not engage in a war of words with social media personality Martins Vincent Otse over the ongoing legal dispute involving businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika.

His remarks came shortly after Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), appeared in court alongside BLord, where both men were observed exchanging handshakes, an interaction that suggested the possibility of a reconciliation.

Despite the apparent shift in tone, VDM took aim at Sowore, accusing him of worsening the situation and portraying the dispute as a personal challenge.

Responding to the criticism, Sowore clarified that his involvement in the matter was not driven by personal motives but by a commitment to ensuring fairness in the legal process. He emphasised that his priority was to protect BLord’s rights and ensure due process was followed.

“I’ve told you guys that my intervention in the case is to ensure that BLord’s rights are not trampled upon and is granted bail so the case would be discontinued. My lawyers have been directed as such,” he said.

The former presidential candidate also maintained that recent developments in the case appear to support the position he had earlier taken.

Sowore further addressed reports of threats directed at him, indicating that he remains willing to face any consequences in the course of defending the rights of others.

The dispute at the centre of the controversy began after VDM accused BLord of engaging in questionable activities, including the alleged misuse of his identity.

The matter subsequently escalated into a legal case, with BLord arraigned on charges related to impersonation, forgery, and conspiracy allegations he has denied.
