Nigerian media personality Anita Natacha Akide, widely known as Tacha, has shared her thoughts on what she described as hypocrisy among some religious individuals.
The Guinness World Record holder criticized people who engage in questionable activities throughout the year but turn to religious practices during specific periods, such as attending church services regularly or travelling to Mecca during Ramadan.
She argued that many of such individuals revert to their прежvious lifestyles once those spiritual activities are over.
”The way people practice religion is almost like a joke to me. You do all sorts all year, only to fly to Mecca and walk around the Kaaba, or show up in church on Sunday and sit in the front row. After the whole ritual is done, you return to your normal life,” she stated.
Her remarks quickly generated mixed reactions on social media, with some users supporting her viewpoint, while others advised her to refrain from judging people’s personal relationship with God.
