Being Good Doesn’t Guarantee Success – Tacha

Nigerian media personality Anita Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has shared a bold opinion about success, saying that people who preach fairness do not always follow the same principles themselves.

The reality television star made the remark in a post on her account on X, where she reflected on lessons many people are taught while growing up.

According to Tacha, the rules often presented to young people about hard work, fairness, and obedience are largely shaped by those who have already succeeded, and following them does not necessarily guarantee success.

”All my life I was told: work hard, play fair, follow the rules, and life will reward you. Then you grow up and realize the rules were written by the winners and they never follow the rules. The people who preach fairness don’t always play fair. Being a good person doesn’t guarantee success. It just means you can sleep at night,” she stated.
