I’ve Moved On from Plantashun Boiz – 2Baba

Nigerian music icon 2Face has ruled out the possibility of a reunion with his former group, Plantashun Boiz.

Speaking during a radio interview with veteran broadcaster Steve Onu, the singer explained that he has moved beyond that phase of his career and is now focused on new directions.

“Other members of the group can go ahead with their plans if they want, but as for me, I’m not interested,” 2Face said.

“I have no conflict or disagreement with anyone, but for me personally, a reunion is not going to happen. I have moved on and I am focusing on the next chapter of my career.”

The group, which also featured Blackface and Faze, gained widespread popularity in the early 2000s with hit songs that helped shape Nigeria’s modern Afro-pop sound.

Although their split left many fans hoping for a comeback, 2Face’s latest comments suggest that a reunion is unlikely.

As he approaches 25 years in the music industry, the singer appears focused on solo projects, collaborations, and mentoring emerging talents, signaling a continued evolution in his career.
