Funke Akindele Opens Up About Her ‘Extreme’ Personality

Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has opened up about her personality amid the ongoing controversy involving fellow actress Toyin Abraham.

Speaking on The Morayo Show, Akindele admitted that she tends to be intense in both her emotions and actions, describing herself as someone who loves deeply but can also cut people off quickly.

“I know I am too extreme; I can love too hard and also easily cut off people. I must say I’m not proud of that and I’m proud of it. There must be a balance,” she said.

She further emphasized the importance of relationships in her life, while also stressing that her mental well-being remains a top priority.

“I know I am an extremist. I love so hard, I’m real, I’m not perfect, I can be tough. When my mum was alive, she would always tell me to calm down… It’s good but calm down. Human relationships are very important to me, and I’m learning every day, but no matter what happens, my mental health is very important,” she added.

Her remarks come as discussions continue around her situation with Toyin Abraham, drawing attention to personal boundaries and emotional balance in relationships.
