Galatasaray’s star forward, Victor Osimhen, has called on his teammates to maintain a focused, one-game-at-a-time approach following their hard-fought 1-0 victory over Beşiktaş in the Turkish Super Lig this Saturday.
Osimhen’s clinical strike in the first half proved to be the difference, securing all three points for Galatasaray at the Tüpraş Stadium in Istanbul.
During his post-match comments, the striker also praised his team’s resilience against the home side, noting that the challenge intensified significantly after they were reduced to ten men during the match.
“It was a tough opponent. There were thousands of fans. We had momentum at the start, we scored the goal,” Osimhen said as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.
“We struggled after the red card. I congratulate my teammates for their strength. We fought very aggressively until the very end. I’m very happy.
“I’m following my coach’s instructions. There were teammates who excited and motivated me. After the goal, they called me back to defense.
“I love this club very much. I’m proud of my team. We are showing unity. We need to take it game by game.”
