Victor Osimhen scored the decisive goal as Galatasaray S.K., despite being reduced to 10 men, secured a 1–0 victory over Beşiktaş J.K. in the Istanbul derby on Saturday night.
Osimhen found the back of the net with a powerful header six minutes before halftime, which ultimately proved to be the match-winning goal.
The Nigerian striker has now recorded 11 goals and four assists in 18 league appearances for the Yellow and Reds this season in the Turkish Super Lig.
The 27-year-old remained on the pitch for the full duration of the match.
His international teammate, Wilfred Ndidi, was also in action for Beşiktaş during the encounter.
It marked Ndidi’s 19th league appearance of the season for the Black Eagles.
