Galatasaray are reportedly planning a squad overhaul centered around striker Victor Osimhen ahead of the new season.
Turkish football analyst Serdar Ali Çelikler revealed on the Neo Spor YouTube channel that the club is aligning its transfer strategy with the Nigerian forward’s preferences.
According to him, several current players could leave at the end of the campaign as the team transitions into a new phase.
“Latin dance is over at Galatasaray, the African folk dance era is beginning. Osimhen’s team is being formed. That’s why Okan Buruk has lost the Latin dancers since the day he broke up with Icardi,” Ali Çelikler said.
“Lemina isn’t Latino either, but he’s part of this team. Lemina, Torreira, Icardi, Davinson Sanchez, Aspirilla… This team will disband at the end of the season. The players Osimhen wants will be transferred,” he added.
Meanwhile, Osimhen has resumed training ahead of Galatasaray’s league fixture against Gençlerbirliği after recovering from a hand injury sustained against Liverpool.
