Labour Party Suspends 26 Members Linked to Abure

A faction of the Labour Party under the leadership of Nenadi Usman has announced the suspension of 26 members linked to the rival camp led by Julius Abure.

The decision was disclosed via the faction’s official X account, where it published the names of those affected. The group stated that its National Executive Council approved the disciplinary action.

This development follows the Supreme Court of Nigeria ruling on April 4, 2025, which removed Abure as the party’s national chairman.
