Accord (political party, Nigeria) has said the 2027 general election will offer Nigerians another chance to unite and elect credible leaders capable of putting the country on the right path.
The party made this known while informing its members about an updated link for its ongoing electronic registration and membership revalidation exercise across the country.
“The upcoming elections provide another opportunity for people to come together and collaborate in creating a strong, healthy, forward-looking, successful, and fair democratic nation,” the statement signed by its National Chairman, Maxwell Mgbudem said.
“It’s time to build a better and more prosperous Nigeria that future generations can take pride in.”
The party also advised members who had already completed the electronic registration and revalidation process not to repeat the exercise.
According to the statement, the update was necessary to properly inform members about the new link following the upgrade of the nationwide membership e-registration platform.
“Members who joined through the old platform can stay without needing to sign up again, as long as they provide the correct National Identification Number (NIN),” the statement said.
“Their data will be included in the new platform. Ward, Local Government, and Zonal leaders are being asked to involve their members in a major effort to join and ensure that everyone in Nigeria, including those living abroad and people who wish to join, are properly registered. It’s very important to act quickly.”
The party further stated that it remains a viable option for Nigerians interested in contesting various positions in the 2027 general election.
