Bola Tinubu is set to visit Ogun State on Saturday to commission and inspect several key infrastructure projects aimed at boosting economic growth and service delivery.
According to a statement by Kayode Akinmade, the visit will cover projects in aviation, transportation, security, and agriculture.
A major highlight of the visit is the commissioning of the Gateway International Airport in Iperu, along with two aircraft under Gateway Air in partnership with ValueJet. The President is also expected to observe a cargo operations demonstration facilitated by SAHCOL.
Other projects lined up include the rollout of 1,000 electric bikes under the state’s mobility initiative, the commissioning of 80 security vehicles, and the deployment of agricultural tractors to enhance food production.
Tinubu will also commission the Ilishan–Iperu Airport Road, inspect the Nigeria Customs Service Village and a Forward Operating Base, and visit the Gateway Aviation Village.
Additionally, he will inaugurate the reconstructed Sapade–Ilishan Road, which will be named after him, before concluding the visit with an inspection of the Sagamu–Benin Concrete Road project.
