Iran Ready for Six-Month War – Revolutionary Guards

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have asserted that the nation is prepared to maintain a high-intensity military conflict against the United States and Israel for a period of up to six months.
This declaration, made on Sunday, comes as the regional hostilities enter their second week, further escalating tensions throughout the Middle East and raising significant alarms regarding regional security and global energy supplies.

The Guards stated that while Iran has primarily utilized what it termed “first- and second-generation” missiles in the current engagement, it remains ready to intensify its military actions.

Spokesman Ali Mohammad Naini indicated that Tehran could soon transition to deploying more advanced and seldom-used long-range missiles as the situation evolves.

In the meantime, the scope of the fighting broadened over the weekend, with reports from Saudi Arabia stating that over a dozen drones, believed to be targeting strategic locations including Riyadh’s diplomatic quarter, were intercepted.

In Kuwait, officials reported that fuel storage units at the nation’s international airport were hit in an attack, further heightening concerns about potential shocks to the international energy market.

Following the incident, Kuwait’s national oil company announced a cut in crude production, pointing to the increasing threats surrounding the Strait of Hormuz—a critical maritime passage for approximately twenty percent of the world’s oil and gas.

Iran has also leveled accusations against the United States and Israel for a Saturday strike on an oil depot in Tehran, which officials identified as the initial hit on the country’s oil infrastructure since the start of the hostilities.

The Israeli military confirmed its involvement in strikes against several fuel storage sites in the Iranian capital, asserting that these facilities were integral to supporting military activities.

On Sunday, Israel launched another series of air strikes across various sectors of Tehran.

This followed a high-precision operation in central Beirut that reportedly targeted senior commanders of the Quds Force, the elite external operations branch of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, at a seaside hotel.
