A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Akerejola Abiodun, has praised Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party’s leadership for what he described as a successful and inclusive congress and national convention.
Speaking in Lokoja, Abiodun said the process reflected the party’s growing democratic strength and unity, noting that internal disputes were resolved peacefully.
“The APC has once again shown that it is a truly democratic party. The ability to resolve internal issues amicably and carry everyone along speaks volumes about the leadership capacity within the party,” he said.
He added that the outcome has strengthened the party’s grassroots structure, especially among minority groups in Kogi State, who are now more mobilised and aligned with the APC.
“We have carefully studied what happened in the last elections, and I can confidently say that those loopholes have been effectively addressed. The level of mobilisation and unity we have now is unprecedented,” he stated.
Abiodun expressed confidence that the renewed unity would translate into strong support for the APC in future elections.
“Our people are fully on board. The minorities in Kogi State are more united and determined than ever to support the APC and President Tinubu. What lies ahead is a landslide victory,” he added.
