Air India and its low-cost subsidiary, Air India Express, have decided to call off all flights traveling to and from Dubai due to the growing instability in the Middle East.
This update was shared just hours after a reported drone attack near the Dubai airport caused a fire on Monday.
Air India explained that the move was a direct result of the temporary halt of all flight activities at Dubai International Airport.
The carrier noted that “passengers can either reschedule their flights for another date or cancel their booking and get a full refund.”
Nevertheless, it pointed out that Air India Express’ ad hoc flight operations to and from Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah would continue as announced.
