Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has stirred reactions after threatening fellow Yorubas with spiritual consequences if they fail to support President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming general elections.
In a video shared online, the Zazu crooner was seen placing curses on any Yoruba individual who works against Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The singer also claimed that he had been engaged by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to campaign for the president.
He said, “We need peace, we want peace. If you don’t want war in Nigeria, you better vote for Tinubu.
“Thunder and Ogun will strike any Yoruba man who doesn’t. I have been signed, given APC clothes — don’t worry, I wll soon start sharing rice and vegetable oil.”
