Nigerian reality TV star Angel Smith has responded to criticism surrounding her sexuality and reported union with her female partner.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate took to her X account to address the backlash, reaffirming her support for the LGBTQIA community and stating that she is open about her identity.
She also expressed admiration for members of the community and urged critics to accept her personal choices.
”I had a whole podcast where I spoke to a trans woman but somehow you guys want to be shocked, okay let me set the record straight, I love lesbians, I love gay men, I love trans women and trans men, non-binary and I have a spine, die if you must,” she stated.
