Benue Announces Deadline for 2026 Mock SSCE Registration

The Benue State Quality Assurance and Examinations Board (BEQAEB) has announced that registration for the 2026 Mock Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) is currently ongoing, with a strict deadline set for March 31, 2026.

In a public notice issued by the board, stakeholders—including school principals, parents, guardians, and students—were urged to treat the registration process with seriousness, noting that the mock examination remains an important part of the academic calendar.

According to the board, registration is to be done strictly online through its official portal.

The Mock SSCE has been designated as a compulsory qualifying examination for all prospective SS3 students.

BEQAEB also stated that only candidates who successfully register and take part in the mock examination will be eligible to sit for external examinations in the following year.

The board further warned that any student who does not participate in the Mock SSCE will not be promoted to Senior Secondary School Three (SS3).

“All concerned are strongly advised to ensure strict compliance with these directives,” said Jeffrey Adzam, Information Officer of the board.
