PSG, Bayern Best Teams in Champions League – Luis Enrique

Luis Enrique, manager of Paris Saint-Germain, has described his side and Bayern Munich as the standout teams left in this season’s UEFA Champions League.

His remarks come as PSG prepare to host Bayern Munich in the first leg of their semi-final tie on Tuesday night, a fixture widely viewed as one of the most anticipated matchups of the competition.

Speaking ahead of the encounter, Enrique emphasised the strength and consistency of both teams, suggesting they are currently the benchmark in Europe.

He also acknowledged the strong campaign of Arsenal, who have remained unbeaten in the tournament so far, but maintained that PSG and Bayern still set the standard.

He said: “There is no team that is better than us. I already said this after losing the top 8.

“These are the two best teams in Europe even if Arsenal also had a great season.

“In terms of consistency, Bayern is a bit ahead of us because they only lost two matches.”
