Max Dowman Surpasses Lamine Yamal Champions League Record

Max Dowman has made history as the youngest player to feature in the UEFA Champions League knockout stages.

The Arsenal youngster broke the previous record held by Lamine Yamal, who achieved the milestone with FC Barcelona at 16 years and 223 days.

Dowman, aged just 16 years and 97 days, was introduced from the bench by Mikel Arteta during Arsenal’s quarter-final clash against Sporting CP.

The teenager’s rapid rise continues to attract attention, having already broken multiple records this season.

He recently scored a brilliant solo goal in a 2-0 win over Everton, becoming the youngest scorer in Premier League history.
