Harry Kane has returned to training with Bayern Munich ahead of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash against Real Madrid.
The striker had been sidelined with a minor ankle issue sustained during international duty with England in late March, which also forced him to miss a recent friendly match against Japan.
Kane was not included in Bayern’s squad for their Bundesliga victory over Freiburg last weekend. However, he was seen training with teammates on Monday and appeared to be in good condition.
Manager Vincent Kompany is expected to make a late decision on whether Kane will feature in Tuesday’s first-leg encounter.
Despite the injury setback, Kane has been in outstanding form this season, scoring 48 goals in 40 appearances, including 10 goals in the Champions League.
