Thierry Henry has described Arsenal as the most defensively reliable side in the Champions League this season.
However, the former striker cautioned that the team still has a weakness that could stand in the way of winning the trophy.
His comments followed Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over Sporting CP in the first leg of their quarter-final clash, with Kai Havertz scoring the decisive late goal.
Arsenal’s defensive strength has been evident throughout the competition, conceding just five goals in 11 matches. Their domestic form has also been solid, with only 22 goals allowed in 31 Premier League games.
“For me they are the most solid team in the Champions League,” Henry said on CBS Sport.
“We also know about the set-pieces – people are crying about that but it’s a part of the game and a big advantage for Arsenal because they’re pretty good at it.”
