Arsenal could part ways with manager Mikel Arteta if the club ends the season without securing either the Premier League title or the UEFA Champions League, according to reports.
Recent weeks have seen Arsenal’s ambitions take a hit, with their hopes of winning multiple trophies fading after a string of setbacks.
The team suffered a 2-1 defeat to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final and were knocked out of the FA Cup by Southampton.
Their Premier League challenge also took a major blow following a 2-1 loss at home to Bournemouth on Saturday.
Although Arsenal still hold a nine-point lead, Manchester City have two games in hand, leaving the title race wide open.
Arteta, now in his sixth full season in charge, has so far lifted just one FA Cup since taking over.
