Arsenal Secure FA Cup Quarter-Final Place

Arsenal F.C. became the second team to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after edging past Mansfield Town F.C. with a 2–1 victory on Saturday.

The result keeps the side managed by Mikel Arteta firmly in contention for four trophies this season.

Arsenal took the lead through a superb strike from Noni Madueke, who fired the ball into the top corner.

However, Mansfield Town responded when Will Evans capitalised on a defensive mistake to level the score at 1–1. Substitute Eberechi Eze later came off the bench to score the decisive goal that sealed the win for Arsenal.

On Friday night, Liverpool F.C. gained revenge against Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. with a 3–1 victory at Molineux Stadium, just days after suffering defeat to the same opponents.

Other fifth-round fixtures will see Manchester City F.C. travel to face Newcastle United F.C., while Chelsea F.C. will play away against Wrexham A.F.C., among other matches.
