Tinubu Visits Jos After Deadly Attack

Bola Tinubu on Thursday arrived in Jos to sympathise with residents and authorities over recent attacks that left more than 28 people dead.

The President touched down at the Yakubu Gowon Airport around 5:00 p.m., where he was received by Caleb Mutfwang, alongside top government officials and political leaders.

Among those present were Nentawe Yilwatda, Minister of Defence Christopher Musa, as well as former governors and lawmakers including Jonah Jang, Simon Lalong, and Joshua Dariye.

Security chiefs were also in attendance, including the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, and the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu.

During the visit, President Tinubu is expected to meet with community leaders and key stakeholders as part of efforts to address the security situation and explore lasting solutions to the recurring attacks in the state.
