Bola Tinubu has reassured Nigerians of his administration’s commitment to strengthening security and sustaining progress, expressing confidence that the country will ultimately defeat terrorism.
He made this known during the commissioning of key projects in Ogun State, including security vehicles, the Gateway International Airport in Iperu, newly acquired aircraft under Gateway Air, tractors, and electric bikes introduced as part of the state’s mobility initiative.
According to the President, the focus on transportation, agriculture, and security reflects a broader effort to improve living standards and promote innovation across the state.
“I am particularly pleased with the focus on mobility, security, and agriculture. The introduction of modern transportation solutions, including new vehicles, reflects a shift toward innovation and improved daily life.
“Strengthening security infrastructure reinforces our resolve to protect lives and property. We will overcome violence and terrorism.
“I assure you that we will continue to make progress. Nigeria is determined to be great, and we are firmly on the path to achieving that greatness once again” the President said.
He also acknowledged the contributions of individuals supporting national development, stating that “your efforts will go a long way”.
Meanwhile, Dapo Abiodun commended the President’s economic management, noting that the projects demonstrate ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and drive development in the state.
He added that the initiatives align with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda and reflect a commitment to building a more prosperous future.
