The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has commended President Bola Tinubu, describing him as a “super brain” and attributing his leadership qualities to his roots in Lagos State.
Akpabio made the statement on Thursday while speaking at the inauguration of the Tolu Schools complex located in the Ajegunle area of Lagos State. During the event, he expressed appreciation to the state for producing a leader he believes is now shaping Nigeria’s future.
According to him: “May God almighty continue to keep you alive and keep the good people of Lagos alive. And I thank you for donating a super brain to Nigeria to be the president in the person of Bola Tinubu.
“He is laying the right foundation not just for the growth of Lagos alone but now for the growth of Nigeria and by the grace of God Nigeria shall move forward.”
Akpabio also used the occasion to commend the current governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for his developmental efforts. He noted that the state has continued to witness progress under successive administrations.
“I can confirm now Mr governor that successive administrations after Asiwaju and the late sage, Lateef Jakunde of blessed memory, you are changing Lagos,” he added.
The Senate President further assured Nigerians that the administration of President Tinubu would address the country’s security challenges, expressing optimism about improved safety across the nation.
“The evil you see today, you will soon see no more. Under this president that God has given to us, insecurity will end in our time,” he added.
