UTME 2026: Candidates Can Now Print JAMB Slips

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their examination slips.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the board encouraged candidates to visit its official website to download and print their slips ahead of the examination. The slip contains essential information, including the candidate’s examination venue, date, and time, all of which are required for entry into the examination hall.

“Examination Slip Printing is now available. The slip contains details of the venue, date and time of your examination and gives you access to the examination hall,” the board said.

To access the slip, candidates are required to visit jamb.gov.ng and click on the “2026 Slip Printing” link provided on the platform.

This development follows JAMB’s recent clarification regarding a widely circulated false press release that claimed the UTME had been postponed. The board described the report as “malicious and fake” and urged candidates to ignore such misinformation.

The 2026 UTME is scheduled to take place between Thursday, April 16, and Saturday, April 25, 2026.

Earlier, the board conducted a mock examination on March 28 to test its systems and prepare candidates for the main exam and . However, the exercise experienced technical issues at some Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres.

Out of the 224,597 candidates who registered for the mock exam, 152,586 successfully participated across 989 CBT centres nationwide. JAMB disclosed that more than 20 centres were subsequently delisted due to technical shortcomings.

In addition, the board issued a strong warning to candidates about fraudulent schemes, particularly those circulating on WhatsApp, where individuals falsely claim they can manipulate UTME scores.

JAMB described such activities as “false and criminal,” warning that any candidate found engaging in such practices risks having their registration cancelled or their results withheld.

The board reiterated its commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent examination process for all candidates.
