Police Recruitment Exam Holds April 28–30 in Benue

The Benue State Police Command has announced the schedule for the written examination of successful applicants participating in the ongoing Police Constable Recruitment exercise.

According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, Udeme Edet, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, the examination will be conducted from April 28 to April 30, 2026, in Makurdi.

The examination comes after the completion of the physical and credentials screening phase and marks the next step for candidates who have successfully progressed through the initial stages of the recruitment process.

The test is being organised by the Police Service Commission in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, and will accommodate both General Duty and Specialist applicants from Benue State.

Authorities have designated Government Model Secondary School, located in the High Level area of Makurdi, as the examination venue.

Applicants have been advised to visit the official recruitment portal to print their updated Examination Invitation Card, which contains details such as their exam date, time, and other relevant instructions.

Those who had previously printed invitation slips with earlier dates have been urged to reprint the updated version.

Candidates are expected to come to the venue with their printed invitation card, their National Identification Number (NIN) slip bearing a clear photograph, and a pen. They are also required to be dressed in a white T-shirt, white shorts, and white canvas shoes.

The command emphasised that the recruitment exercise is entirely free of charge and cautioned applicants against engaging with individuals who demand payment for assistance. It warned that anyone found engaging in such fraudulent activities would face arrest and prosecution.
