Plateau Killings: PFN Condemns Attack That Left 27 Dead

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has condemned the killing of at least 27 people in Anguwan Rukuba, Jos, describing the attack as tragic and unacceptable.

In a statement, PFN National Secretary, David Bakare, said the incident highlights the fragile peace in Plateau State and warned against a return to violence.

“It is with deep sorrow and grave concern that we condemn in the strongest possible terms the horrific killings…”

“This senseless act of violence is not only a tragedy… but also a painful reminder of the fragile peace that must be protected at all costs.”

He urged security agencies to act swiftly and bring those responsible to justice, while calling on residents to remain calm and avoid reprisals.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims… we stand in solidarity with them…”
