On Monday morning, a section of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) was engulfed in flames.
While the exact cause of the fire could not be immediately determined, Vanguard sources suggest it might be linked to a power surge.
DCF Paul Abraham, Spokesman for the Federal Fire Service, informed Vanguard that the situation was swiftly brought under control.
He stated; “The Federal Fire Service has responded to a fire incident at the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation building in Abuja. The situation has been brought under control by firefighters.
“The Service assures Nigerians that there is no cause for alarm”.
