Tonto Dikeh Fires Back at Critics Over Churchill

Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has addressed the recent criticism she received regarding her rekindled relationship with her former husband, Olakunle Churchill.

The actress faced backlash after sharing photos and moments from their son’s birthday celebration, which prominently featured her spending time with Churchill and members of his family.

These posts generated mixed reactions on social media, with some critics accusing her of going “too much” by frequently sharing content involving her ex-husband.

Responding via her Instagram Story, Dikeh dismissed the criticism and defended her actions, emphasizing that Churchill remains the father of her son.

She wrote: “How am I doing too much for the only man who put a child in me?”

Dikeh clarified that despite their past marital issues, she and Churchill are now focused on effectively co-parenting their son, Andre Churchill.

The actress and Churchill were previously involved in a highly publicized separation that unfolded across social media platforms. However, they have since reconciled their differences to maintain a co-parenting relationship.

She also advised her critics to focus on their own affairs, suggesting they might not grasp the peace that accompanies maturity and forgiveness.

According to Dikeh, successful co-parenting necessitates mutual respect and appreciation between parents, irrespective of their previous conflicts.

Dikeh concluded by stating that when her critics find themselves in a similar situation, they are free to handle it in whatever manner they deem appropriate.
