Asake Denies Fallout with Olamide, Reaffirms Loyalty

Afro-fusion star Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has reacted to rumours suggesting a fallout between him and his former label boss, Olamide Adedeji, reaffirming that their relationship remains strong.

In an interview shared on his official X handle, the singer dismissed claims of any disagreement following his departure from YBNL to explore international opportunities.

Speaking in Yoruba, Asake clarified that there is no rift between them, describing Olamide as a mentor whose impact on his life and career remains profound.

He emphasized that his growth outside the label has not affected their personal connection, adding that Olamide will always be an important part of his journey.

Speculation about a possible feud had intensified in recent weeks, particularly due to Olamide’s absence from some of Asake’s international shows.

However, fans have since taken Asake’s comments as a clear reassurance of loyalty and mutual respect. Olamide, on his part, has previously described their bond as close, often referring to Asake as a brother.
