Dangote Refinery Reduces Petrol, Diesel Prices

The Dangote Refinery has announced a significant reduction in the prices of both petrol and diesel, slashing them by N100.

This comes after GoNews previously reported that the Dangote Petroleum Refinery had increased the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to ₦1,175 per liter.

In the latest pricing template released by the refinery on March 10, 2026, the price of petrol at the gantry has been lowered by ₦100, bringing it down to ₦1,075 per liter from its earlier price of ₦1,175 per liter.

The refinery further clarified that the price of PMS for coastal supply will now be set at ₦1,050 per liter. This minor adjustment accounts for maritime distribution expenses.

Similarly, the cost of Automotive Gas Oil (diesel) has seen a substantial drop, now priced at ₦1,430 per liter at the gantry. This represents a reduction of ₦190 from the previous price of ₦1,620 per liter.

The refinery emphasized that the prices quoted at the gantry do not include fees imposed by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA).
