1. Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working closely with global development partners to drive agricultural growth and boost the state’s economy. The governor made this known while hosting a delegation from the European Union (EU) at the Government House in Kano, noting that the visit comes at a critical time for the state’s agricultural reform agenda.

2. Accord party has strongly denied speculation suggesting it may be deregistered by the Independent National Electoral Commission, maintaining that it fully satisfies all constitutional conditions required to remain a recognised political party in Nigeria.
