Senior officials at Chelsea FC are currently holding internal discussions regarding the future of head coach Liam Rosenior.
The development was disclosed by transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano, who reported that meetings are ongoing following a series of disappointing results.
The latest setback came after a 3–0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion, marking the club’s fifth consecutive loss in the Premier League.
“Meetings ongoing during the morning and again now at Chelsea to make final decision on Liam Rosenior’s future.
“The head coach always felt support from the hierarchy in recent weeks but results have been poor… and Chelsea are seriously considering a change of direction.”
Chelsea have struggled offensively in recent weeks, failing to score in the league since mid-March, with defeats to Newcastle United, Everton, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Brighton.
