Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced that the United States and Israel have hit over 15,000 targets in Iran since their combined military effort started.
Hegseth shared this information during a Pentagon briefing on Friday.
He stated that the United States is significantly weakening Iran’s military, leaving it without air defenses, a navy, or an air force.
“We’re shooting down and destroying what missiles they still have in stock, but more importantly, ensuring that they have no ability to make more.
He added, “Their production lines, their military plants, their defense innovation centers are defeated.”
It’s worth remembering that these hostilities started on February 28, when the U.S., working with its ally Israel, began air strikes against Iran.
