NYSC Releases Date for 2026 Mobilisation Registration

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that its online portal will open for prospective corps members to register for mobilisation from March 12 to March 18, 2026.

The scheme made the announcement through a flyer shared across its official social media platforms on Friday.

In the notice addressed to prospective corps members, the agency stated that only graduates whose names appear on the approved Senate or Academic Board lists uploaded by their institutions would be eligible to participate in the registration.

“Attention, Prospective Corps Members (PCMs), I am happy to inform you that the NYSC portal will be opened for online registration from 12th to 18th March, 2026,” the flyer read.

It added that those eligible to register are “PCMs who have Senate/Academic Board approved results and whose details have been uploaded on the NYSC portal by their respective institutions.”

The scheme advised prospective participants to visit its official website and social media platforms for comprehensive guidelines on how to complete the registration.

It also stressed the need for applicants to carefully verify their personal information before beginning the process.

According to the agency, prospective corps members must ensure that the name on their record with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) matches the name on the Senate list and the NYSC portal.

Graduates were further advised to confirm that the names on their certificates or statements of result correspond with those used for registration.

The NYSC also directed applicants to verify their details through the Senate list verification portal before proceeding with the online registration.

The development comes amid ongoing reforms in the education sector aimed at strengthening the credibility and integrity of academic records.
