As part of efforts to improve connectivity and expand travel options within Nigeria, Gateway Air has unveiled a new schedule of domestic flight operations covering several key cities across the country.
The announcement was made in a statement issued over the weekend by Hon. Kayode Akinmade, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to Governor Dapo Abiodun.
According to the statement, the airline will commence scheduled flights on Monday, April 13, 2026, with routes designed to connect major economic and regional hubs. The planned routes include:
- Iperu to Abuja
- Abuja to Port Harcourt
- Abuja to Calabar
- Abuja to Jos
- Iperu to Kano
Gateway Air disclosed that the one-way flights will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, providing passengers with flexible and convenient travel options. Economy fares are expected to start from as low as ₦100,000.
The new routes are expected to significantly improve regional accessibility, making it easier for passengers to travel between cities while also supporting trade, tourism, and broader economic activities.
Passengers have been advised to make early bookings and stay updated through the airline’s official communication channels for schedules and additional travel information.
The airline reaffirmed its commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and customer-focused services, positioning itself as a reliable option in Nigeria’s domestic aviation sector.
