Troops of the Nigerian Army have arrested several suspects linked to a series of mysterious killings in parts of Plateau State.
The arrests were disclosed by security analyst Zagazola Makama, who reported that the operation was carried out under Operation Enduring Peace through coordinated, intelligence-driven raids.
According to security sources, the suspects are believed to be connected to targeted attacks often carried out at night in isolated areas within the Jos metropolis and surrounding communities.
During the operation, troops also recovered weapons and other items suspected to be connected to the killings.
The development comes amid growing concern among residents over repeated incidents of unexplained deaths and the discovery of bodies in remote locations, which have heightened tension across the state.
The suspects are currently in custody and undergoing interrogation as authorities work to uncover the network behind the attacks and identify other possible accomplices.
Security agencies confirmed that operations are ongoing, with efforts focused on dismantling criminal groups and restoring peace in the affected areas.
