Rapper Offset Hospitalised After Florida Shooting

American rapper, Offset is currently in stable condition after being shot outside a casino in Florida.

The rapper, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was attacked in the valet area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, according to his spokesperson.

He is undergoing treatment in hospital and is “being closely monitored,” the spokesperson confirmed.

Authorities have not yet provided full details about what led to the shooting. However, the Seminole Police Department said two individuals have been taken into custody as investigations continue.

“The site is secure and there is no threat to the public,” a police statement said. “Operations continue as normal.”

Offset, a former member of the rap group Migos, was previously married to Cardi B, with whom he shares three children.

The incident has drawn renewed attention to the group’s history, particularly the 2022 killing of fellow member Takeoff, who was shot in Houston
