Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has shared insights into her personal beliefs, opening up about her spirituality and evolving faith.
During a recent livestream with TikToker Jarvis, the music star said her spiritual aim is to live a life that reflects the teachings of Jesus Christ.
“I am trying to be as perfect as Jesus. I have a close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit and it doesn’t come with me only being in church. God says let it be unto you according to your faith. I have found a way that works for me,” she expressed.
Ayra Starr explained that while she may not strictly identify as religious, her spiritual connection remains strong. She added that her approach works for her now, though it could evolve over time.
Beyond her beliefs, the singer also revealed plans to expand her career into the movie industry.
