Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has recently opened up about her private relationship, admitting that she finds herself in a dilemma regarding its public status.
During a recent appearance on Rock Nation’s ‘The Intern’ series, Starr disclosed that her song ‘Where Do We Go’ was directly inspired by this private relationship and the internal conflict of whether to keep it hidden or reveal it to the world.
“‘Where Do We Go’ is inspired by a private relationship. Are we going to stay hidden or come out to the world? I’m kind of like in the middle so like where do we go,” she expressed.
Ayra Starr also shared on the show that if she had the opportunity to intern for anyone, it would undoubtedly be Rihanna.
“If I have to intern for anyone it would be Rihanna. I would get the coffee. Anything she wants me to do, I will do it,” she said.
In numerous past interviews, Starr has consistently cited Rihanna as her childhood idol and the primary source of inspiration for her foray into music.
