JAMB Delists 23 CBT Centres Over Technical Issues

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has removed 23 computer-based test (CBT) centres from its list of approved facilities following technical shortcomings observed during the 2026 mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The affected centres are spread across 11 states—Abia State, Anambra State, Bayelsa State, Delta State, Edo State, Lagos State, Ogun State, Osun State, Oyo State, Plateau State—as well as the Federal Capital Territory.

In Abia State, the affected facility is Micben ICT Hall, Seat of Wisdom Academy, Umunteke Asa in Ukwa West. Anambra State has two centres on the list: Bishop Crowther Seminary CBT Centre in Awka and The Oracle Lens at Ubili Town Hall, Nnokwa.

Bayelsa’s affected centre is Derby’s Young ICT Centre located behind Government Science and Technical College in Okaka, Yenagoa.

Delta State accounts for multiple delistings, including Avid ICT Solutions CBT Centre at the Institute of Continuing Education in Asaba, Brightfield School CBT Centre in Ekpan, Uvwie, and Conarina Maritime Academy along Eseme River Road in Oria-Abraka.

In Edo State, the centres affected include Daniet Global Resources on Akpakpava Road and Moses and Grace College of Health Sciences and Technology CBT Centre, both in Benin City.

Within the Federal Capital Territory, De-Lite CBT Centre at Model Secondary School, Maitama, and Zulqud Consult Ltd CBT Centre at Government Secondary School, Lugbe, were also delisted.

Lagos State recorded the highest number of affected centres, including Florin High School in Ejigbo, Folbob CBT Centre in Ibeju-Lekki, Great Kezino College CBT Centre and Obans CBT Centre in Ikorodu, as well as Teesas Learning and CBT Centre along the Lekki Expressway.

In Ogun State, Braingate Model Schools CBT Centre in Arepo-Fadunsin, Ijoko, and Greenhills Academy along Itele Road were delisted, while Osun State had one affected centre—Oduduwa University CBT Centre in Ipetumodu.

Oyo State recorded three affected centres: Lasting Glory Schools CBT Centre in Ibadan, Nesam International School CBT Centre in Apata, and SAF Polytechnic along Iseyin-Oyo Road in Iseyin.

In Plateau State, Rabjib Computer Academy along Museum Road in Jos was also listed among the affected facilities.

JAMB explained that the decision followed a comprehensive internal assessment of the mock UTME, which revealed that the affected centres did not meet the board’s technical and operational requirements.

The board reiterated that only centres that fully comply with its standards will be permitted to participate in the main UTME, as part of its commitment to ensuring a seamless and credible examination process nationwide.
